PRESENTATION OF DAVID BÉRUBÉ, FOUNDER
David Bérubé has a rich background as a pianist and composer.
Cited in the media as a young musical prodigy, due to his perfect pitch, his excellent musical memory, his remarkable progress on the piano and his skills as an improviser and musical transcriber, he entered Concordia University in Montreal at the age of 13 to perfect his art under the tutelage of Mr. Philip Cohen, director of the "Leonardo" research project and an internationally renowned professor.
Originally as a classical musician, he diversified into several musical styles, both on the piano (jazz, pop) and in the studio (orchestral music, electronic music, rock music, etc.).
In 1995, he began a career as a solo pianist and performed in concert halls, in corporate events and on cruise ships. Since 2009, he has collaborated as a pianist-accompanist and musical arranger for Quebec renowned artists such as Bobby Bazini, Michaël (The Voice), Mario Saint-Amand and Bob Harrison, ex-member of the legendary Quebec group Offenbach. He has also lent his talent to various causes (Telethon Opération Enfant Soleil, CGI-Centraide, Maison Job, the Canadian Cancer Society's "Relay for Life"), sharing the stage with artists such as Les Respectables, Jérôme Couture and 2Frères.
At the same time, still in 2009, he began a career as a studio composer and signed original music for short films, TV and radio ads (Burger King, Pizza Hut, BMW, etc.), radio productions (CKOI, Rythme FM, etc.) and won awards in international competitions. He also signed the opening music for the Gala Les Olivier 2017 and 2018 broadcasted on Radio-Canada (CBC) in collaboration with Éric Collard, recipient of several Félix awards at the ADISQ gala (Andrée Watters, Annie Villeneuve, Marc-André Fortin, Réal Béland, Les Chick'n'swell, Les Justiciers Masqués, Anthony Kavanagh). His musical composition "Makeshift Creations", launched on November 20, 2018 and whose music video was directed by Youtuber Flint 4K, has reached 15 million views on YouTube.
All these experiences motivate him to start in 2018 his company David Bérubé Musique in order to offer his musical shows and musical creations services to different markets on the territory of Montreal, Quebec, and internationally.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to my website David Bérubé Musique. Born from an ever growing passion since I was 11 years old, music is my life. I had the chance to live very enriching experiences as a pianist as well as the privilege to have collaborated on projects all as exciting as the others as a composer, and I aspire to continue in this way for many years to come.
